Je'Von Evans Advances in King of the Ring Tournament on WWE Raw
Je'Von Evans secured his spot in the next round of the King of the Ring tournament with a victory on WWE Raw. He emerged victorious from a chaotic four-way match.
From the outset, the match was filled with aggressive action. As soon as the bell rang, Ricky Saints targeted Seth Rollins, sending him to the outside. Rollins attempted to chop Talla Tonga multiple times without success, only for Tonga to turn him inside out. Evans and Rollins then appeared to form a temporary alliance, working together against Tonga. However, Saints disrupted their plans, taking down Evans while Tonga took out Rollins.
Saints and Tonga continued to work in tandem for a period. Tonga delivered a Big Boot to Saints, sending him down. Tonga then eliminated both Saints and Rollins by sending them over the top rope, following up by tossing Evans on top of them.
The action spilled outside the ring where Rollins sent Tonga into the time keeper's area. Tonga retaliated by grabbing Rollins and Saints by their throats. Evans seized the opportunity, taking Tonga out of the equation with a running leap over the barricade.
Back in the ring, Rollins and Saints engaged in a battle, exchanging counters. Saints managed to intercept Evans with a Revolution DDT. Rollins followed up with a Pedigree, but Tonga intervened, breaking up the pin attempt. Rollins then sent Tonga over the top rope, and Saints followed suit, eliminating Rollins. Evans then sent Saints to the floor before taking down all three men.
Tonga landed an avalanche suplex on Evans, but Evans landed on his feet. Tonga then attempted to pin Evans, but Rollins once again broke up the count. Tonga proceeded to the French announce table, ripping off the top and preparing to powerbomb Rollins. Evans interrupted Tonga's attempt, leading to Tonga sending Evans into the announce table. Rollins capitalized, landing a Curb Stomp on Tonga from the announce table.
Once back in the ring, Rollins hit a Curb Stomp on Saints. However, just as the referee was about to make the three count, Austin Theory pulled the official out of the ring. Montez Ford then entered the fray, attacking Theory, and the two brawled their way through the crowd. Bron Breakker then appeared and speared Seth Rollins.
With Rollins incapacitated, Ricky Saints began to crawl towards him to attempt a pin. It was at this moment that Je'Von Evans hit the OG Cutter on Saints, securing the victory and advancing in the King of the Ring tournament.
