Reflecting on the Rivalry with Becky Lynch

Looking back at the intense program with Lynch, Dupri admitted that she hadn't anticipated the trajectory it would take when it began.

I did not see that in my future last year, as it was happening.

Initially, Dupri's primary goal was simply to learn from the veteran competitor. She expressed her excitement at the prospect of sharing the ring with Lynch, hoping to absorb as much knowledge as possible.

It was the greatest experience of my life sharing the ring with her, and I learned more than I could ever repay her for... I think [the feud] changed everything.

Dupri emphasized that the feud was a transformative experience, significantly altering her self-perception both as a professional wrestler and as an individual. She now feels a greatly enhanced sense of capability in her role.

Championship Glory and Career Elevation

The journey with Becky Lynch proved to be more than just a learning opportunity; it was a career-defining period that exceeded Dupri's expectations.

That whole journey truly took my career from over here, and elevated me. After that first match, I was not expecting a second one, a third one, a fourth one; so, I couldn't believe the opportunities I was being blessed with.

A significant highlight during this period was capturing the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship. Dupri achieved this milestone at Madison Square Garden in 2025, a moment she described as the absolute zenith of her career.

Nothing will ever beat that day. It was the greatest day of my life.

Title Lineage and Conclusion of Reign

Maxxine Dupri's reign as WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion eventually came to an end early in 2026. Becky Lynch defeated Dupri on an episode of RAW to reclaim the title, concluding Dupri's championship run.

Following Lynch's victory over Dupri, the Women's Intercontinental Championship continued to see new holders. Becky Lynch's own subsequent reign was eventually ended by AJ Lee. Most recently, Sol Ruca defeated AJ Lee to become the champion, continuing the evolving lineage of the title.
