WWE Raw airs live tonight, June 8, 2026, emanating from the Accor Arena in Paris, France. This episode marks the second broadcast during the four week build to Night of Champions, which is scheduled to take place on June 27. The show will have a special start time of 2 pm ET and will be available to stream on Netflix.

Opening round matches for both the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments are set for tonight's card. Additionally, two championship defenses are scheduled to take place. The broadcast is also expected to provide updates on various developing storylines across WWE, including those involving World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns, LA Knight, and The Vision faction.

Queen of the Ring Tournament: Becky Lynch's Officiating Issue

Becky Lynch is scheduled to compete in an opening round match of the Queen of the Ring tournament on today’s episode of Raw. Her opponents in the four way bout are Alexa Bliss, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, and Chelsea Green. Green and Bliss are considered the clear underdogs in this contest, whereas Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch appear to be each other’s biggest threats to advancing in the tournament.

However, Lynch faces a peculiar situation that may significantly impact her journey in the tournament. Nearly all of The Man’s important matches seem to be refereed by Jessika Carr. Becky Lynch has repeatedly stated her belief regarding this consistent assignment:

Corrupt Carr is out to get her.

The fact that Jessika Carr is publicly mocking Lynch indicates a potential conflict of interest, and many believe this should disqualify Carr from officiating any more of Becky’s matches. Within the context of WWE's on screen narrative, the frequent assignment of Carr as the referee for Lynch’s matches cannot be a coincidence, even in kayfabe, which raises alarms about General Manager Adam Pearce's role in potentially holding Becky Lynch down. The probability of Lynch wrestling in three straight Queen of the Ring tournament matches without Carr being the referee seems awfully low, and this situation is expected to negatively impact Becky Lynch at some point this month. Tonight's episode of Raw may reveal if an unfavorable outcome occurs as early as this opening round match.

King of the Ring Tournament Action

Becky Lynch's husband, Seth Rollins, is also booked in opening round action for the King of the Ring tournament today. His four way match includes Ricky Saints, Talla Tonga, and Je’Von Evans. Rollins stands out as the clear favorite to win this match, given his extensive world championship history within WWE. While there are no disqualifications in a standard four way match, there is no reason for groups like The Vision or MFT to remain on the sidelines and let the match play out fairly, meaning interference is a possibility.

Oba Femi is set to kick off today’s episode of Raw. Questions surround Femi’s intentions and what message he may have for Dominik Mysterio before their scheduled meeting in round two of the King of the Ring tournament. Additionally, the WWE Universe is anticipating whether World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns, referred to as The Ruler, will address Brock Lesnar further or if he will issue another open challenge that goes unanswered today.

Championship Defenses Scheduled

WWE Intercontinental Champion Penta is set to defend his title today in a singles match against the legendary Rey Mysterio. This matchup appears to be a straightforward way to give Penta the rub of beating an all time great wrestler, but it also carries the possibility of being seen as WWE leaning too heavily on past stars and hindering a current hot talent.

Women’s Intercontinental Champion Sol Ruca will make her first title defense today in a singles match against Lyra Valkyria. Valkyria was previously not permitted to challenge for the Women's Intercontinental Championship when Becky Lynch was champion, so she seized the opportunity for a title match as soon as The Man dropped the gold. Ruca and Valkyria are also scheduled to face each other later this week in an opening round four way match in the Queen of the Ring tournament.

Other Developing Storylines and Superstar Updates

World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns may be on the road to another 1300 plus day run as champion after Jacob Fatu decided to fall in line as his most dangerous henchman in The Bloodline. Questions remain about Jey Uso’s reaction and whether his demeanor will change when addressing Jacob Fatu.

LA Knight has expressed a conspiracy theory suggesting that Adam Pearce is an honorary Uce and is secretly in cahoots with The Bloodline. It is also uncertain if Jimmy and Jey Uso have differing opinions on the decision to send Fatu to confront LA Knight.

The Vision faction appears to be in desperate need of new members now that Logan Paul recently underwent triceps surgery, Bron Breakker lost to Seth Rollins, and Paul Heyman was speared through a barricade. Austin Theory, meanwhile, seems to believe he intimidates the Raw roster. Speculation exists as to whether these issues could be resolved with the potential official joining of Maxxine Dupri to the group. The role Drew McIntyre might play is also a subject of discussion, as today represents Drew McIntyre’s last opportunity to return to WWE during the current European tour.

In the Queen of the Ring tournament, questions are arising about Liv Morgan's approach. She may be making a significant error by overlooking Raquel Rodriguez and not giving sufficient attention to Roxanne Perez's frustration following her elimination from the tournament. Morgan is also advised to align herself with her Judgment Day stablemates before Stephanie Vaquer makes her return to WWE.

Chad Gable returned to WWE last week on SmackDown, where he apologized to Rey Fenix for disrespecting lucha libre culture while performing under the El Grande Americano mask. Rey Fenix reminded Gable that:

there are others he needs to make things right with.

It remains to be seen if Gable will appear on Raw tonight to seek out those individuals. Bayley was eliminated from the Queen of the Ring tournament on last week’s SmackDown.

Updates are also anticipated regarding the status of several competitors. Joe Hendry and Angelo Dawkins may be nearing a return to action after The Vision defeated them a couple of weeks ago. The condition of Paul Heyman is also a point of interest following his incident where he was accidentally speared by Bron Breakker.

Outside of WWE, the New York Knicks remain undefeated ever since Danhausen reportedly removed a curse, placing them two wins away from securing their first NBA championship since the 1970s. This development raises questions about whether WWE has plans to capitalize on Danhausen’s increasing mainstream popularity, especially with the NBA finals potentially concluding as early as Wednesday night.

Finally, the current status of CM Punk continues to be a topic of discussion. Reports indicate that he is actively training at the gym and is being defended by The Ryback concerning the issue of steroid abuse.
