This special broadcast, Sunday Night's Main Event, is set for September 5. It will emanate live from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Tickets for this event are scheduled to go on sale this Friday at 10 AM ET. This special event will occupy the September date originally intended for the Money in the Bank premium live event.

In a separate announcement made earlier on Monday, WWE confirmed that the Money in the Bank event is being relocated to New Orleans. The premium live event is now scheduled to take place on October 10 in New Orleans. Money in the Bank was originally slated for August 29. The official press release from WWE did not provide a specific reason for the rescheduling of Money in the Bank from its initial September date to October 10.

Previous Saturday Night's Main Event Featured Championship Matches

The most recent Saturday Night's Main Event took place on May 23. That broadcast featured a card highlighted by three championship matches. During the May 23 event, Sol Ruca successfully secured an opportunity to challenge for the Intercontinental Championship against the then-champion, Becky Lynch.

Following her victory to earn the title shot, Sol Ruca went on to challenge Becky Lynch. Ruca ultimately defeated Lynch in a match at Clash in Italy. This victory resulted in Ruca becoming the new Intercontinental Champion.
