Select has provided an update on CM Punk’s status, addressing various rumors and speculation. The report indicates no verifiable information suggesting Punk requested to be released from his WWE contract, nor that he was asked to take a pay cut.

Among dozens of individuals within WWE, Select reported that nobody had heard CM Punk wanted out of his contract. Furthermore, no talent spoken to believed Punk was asked to accept a reduction in his compensation.
