In an interview, Priest was asked about wrestling into his 50s. He responded by saying, "I don’t have a number. I don’t have a time, but I know that I’m gonna listen to my body. And I’ve already, I can tell, it is just natural that you’re gonna start slowing down. So I don’t know how much time I have left, but I don’t plan on leaving any time soon. But at the same time, no, into my 50’s? Definitely not. Before 50 I would be done."

If Priest adheres to his stated timeline, it suggests he has a maximum of just over six years remaining in his in-ring career. The current WWE tag team champion did not specify an exact retirement date but emphasized a commitment to monitoring his physical condition.
