Danhausen has reportedly become one of WWE's fastest rising acts of 2026, building momentum in less than four months since a tepid Elimination Chamber debut that left the United Center crowd booing when he stepped out of a mysterious crate.
That premium live event reveal ahead of WrestleMania 42 drew comparisons online to the Gobbledy Gooker, with the former AEW talent framed as an unanticipated signing given such an extravagant entrance. The arc since then has looked far different on screen and in mainstream crossover moments.
Danhausen has shared the screen with Stephen A. Smith, appeared alongside Ben Stiller at Madison Square Garden, and received credit tied to the New York Knicks' historic NBA Championship win. WWE's billion dollar ESPN partnership also appears to have amplified his exposure more than any other Superstar in that synergy.
The King of the Merch Game
Cody Rhodes used that nickname for Danhausen as the character's absurd, fully committed gimmick has found an audience in a wrestling landscape often built around reality based presentation and work rate.
