The co-stars appeared on the blue carpet at the ICC Sydney Theatre. Johnson, 54, wore a cream-colored jacket with black pants and a white floral and green leaf lei, while Laga’aia, 19 was in a white floral-print dress.
Thomas Kail, who directed the adaptation of the 2016 animated film was also in attendance.

Cast and Production Details
The cast of the live-action adaptation also includes Rena Owen as Moana’s Gramma Tala, John Tui as Chief Tui, and Frankie Adams as Sina. Jemaine Clement is set to reprise his voice role from the animated movies as the character Tamatoa.
Dwayne Johnson and Auli’i Cravalho, the original voice of Moana are serving as executive producers on the project. The live-action "Moana" is scheduled for release in theaters on July 10th.
