Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson recently shared his thoughts on depression and the significance of empathy, prompted by an emotional moment with an audience member. During one of his talks, a man in attendance became visibly distressed, later revealing to Johnson that he is battling depression.
Recalling the interaction, Johnson emphasized the importance of not judging others too quickly, stating that everyone faces unseen battles. He shared a message of support, writing, "I've learned in my life, that there's a universal to the FACT, that EVERYONE is going through something. So don't be so quick to judge. Don't be so quick to assume. Show people grace. Empathy and kindness matters. Stay strong brother - you're never alone."
This reflection comes as Johnson prepares for the release of 'Moana', a live-action adaptation of the animated film. Johnson reprises his role as Maui in the movie, directed by Thomas Kail, which is scheduled for release on July 10.
