During the event, which took place in his home arena, Madison Square Garden, Brunson slid into the ring armed with a steel chair. His intervention was to defend LA Knight against the duo of Logan Paul and Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton.
Brunson and LA Knight were positioned as babyfaces, while Haliburton, whose Pacers eliminated the Knicks from the Eastern Conference semifinals in May, and Logan Paul played the role of heels. The confrontation escalated when Haliburton attempted to pass brass knuckles to Paul during their match, but was thwarted. The segment concluded with all four men squaring off in the ring before Haliburton and Paul made their exit.
