Grant shared a series of slides on Instagram outlining events from 2022, the same year WWE's board of directors initiated an investigation following allegations against McMahon.

I believed in good faith that I was participating in a company’s publicly announced investigation. I spent six figures on retainers and medical care. I onboarded a legal team. We spent months preparing for an investigation that closed without speaking to me.

She stated that she invested significant personal funds and legal resources in preparation for an investigation that ultimately concluded without her input. Grant discovered through documents related to a settled shareholder lawsuit that graphic evidence, including descriptions of sexual images and language was presented to the board members by McMahon's counsel. She claims neither she nor her legal team were alerted to this sharing of sensitive information.

During his deposition, former board member Jeffrey Speed recounted learning late in the investigation about text messages sent by Vince McMahon to two individuals, one identified as Brock Lesnar. Speed stated that while board members did not view the photos themselves, the graphic content and language were read aloud and described to them.

Further documentation shared by Grant indicated that on July 22, 2022, McMahon's counsel produced documents to the Special Committee, flagging a single "graphic" text message that McMahon separately produced. McMahon reportedly "retired" from all company roles on the same day. Stephanie McMahon, in her deposition, addressed the graphic material, stating, "There is no board of a public company that would have a CEO with this kind of evidence against them."

Grant has expressed concerns about the extent to which this graphic evidence was shared without her awareness and the limitations of public documents containing knowledge of material concerning her. Her suit against WWE and Vince McMahon is pending arbitration, following an agreement between the parties and pending approval from Judge Sarah Russell.
