This is not Cena's first time working with Dr. Anderson. The 49-year-old underwent his initial hair transplant with the doctor in November 2024. This followed public commentary and fan criticism regarding a 'bald spot' that Cena had addressed previously.
During a public taping of The Pat McAfee Show in April 2025, Cena directly addressed the fan reactions, describing the taunts as “straight-up bullying” that led him to seek surgical intervention.
