During the interview, Moxley expressed confidence in AEW's upcoming presence in his home city. He stated,

AEW will be the best place to be this week in Cincy.
He further described AEW's position in professional wrestling, saying,
AEW is the best professional wrestling in the world. It's as 'good as it gets.' It's the best rock concert and sporting event rolled into one.

Moxley confirmed he would be defending the Continental Championship against Shane Taylor tomorrow. He shared his approach to performing, noting that he does not experience nervousness before stepping out for a match. He clarified that he endeavors to maintain a

ready
state at all times.

A key aspect Moxley highlighted about AEW was its use of distinct venues. He shared his appreciation for performing in places such as The Brady Center, a music venue, explaining his enjoyment in witnessing and feeling the sweat and blood coming off the wrestlers as they battle.

Regarding the Continental Championship, Moxley mentioned a gentleman's agreement to keep things

relatively clean.
He then joked that fans need to be there to
see if you want to see things get a little out of control.
He also talked about how to use pressure in order to pop eyeballs out of sockets and how fans see it live when the camera cuts away. This cracked up the anchor interviewing him.

Moxley concluded by emphasizing the serious nature of his upcoming encounter with Shane Taylor in his home territory. He stated that there would be nothing funny happening when he faces Shane Taylor in his home area. He added that things would come to a head over the next few days. Moxley stressed the importance of remaining composed, stating,

You can't be emotional in an emotional situation.
