AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley conducted a media tour in Cincinnati to promote this week's Dynamite and Collision tapings, addressing his upcoming match against Shane Taylor and the importance of experiencing wrestling live.

During the appearance, Moxley was questioned about his return to the Cincinnati market. He described himself as a cheetah who hasn't eaten in weeks prowling the Savannah, adding that his teeth were sharp. When asked about a broken tooth, Moxley kept the details under wraps, simply saying,

"You don't want to know"
what happened.

Anticipated Confrontation with Shane Taylor

Moxley also highlighted his scheduled match against Shane Taylor, which is set to take place tomorrow. He noted that the match has become a heated issue, with a rivalry between Shane Taylor's group and Moxley's group, The Death Riders, escalating into "gang warfare." Moxley emphasized the stakes involved, stating,

"There's pride of the line and neither wants to leave with their tail between the legs. He said it's going to be a tense situation."

The discussion also played up a Cincy vs. Cleveland rivalry, given Moxley's upbringing in Cincinnati and Taylor's roots in Cleveland. Moxley made it clear that he intends to defend his home turf:

"I'm not going to walk into his home and let Shane disrespect him."

Cincinnati Roots and Global Career

Reflecting on his origins, Moxley shared details about growing up in Cincinnati. He began his professional wrestling journey with HWA, Les Thatcher's promotion, in 2004. Since then, he recounted traveling the world multiple times, wrestling in countless cities and countries. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to

"do this craft"
globally and to return to Cincinnati for the Dynamite and Collision tapings. Moxley specifically encouraged fans to attend Collision, teasing that it "gets wilder than Dynamite."

The Live Wrestling Experience

Moxley also praised AEW's choice of venues, noting the intimacy they provide. He articulated his belief that experiencing wrestling live is one of the sport's greatest aspects, comparing it to "the best rock concert and sporting event rolled into one." He firmly stated the necessity of being present in person to fully experience it, acknowledging that while it airs live, there is "no comparison to being there live in person."

Wrestling Legends and Weapon Preferences

The AEW Continental Champion was also asked to weigh in on wrestling legends Mick Foley and Terry Funk. Moxley concisely remarked,

"you don't have one without the other."
When faced with a choice between thumbtacks and barbed wire, Moxley opted for barbed wire, citing a practical reason:
"barbed wire because tacks get stuck in your underwear and you find them hours later."
The media tour concluded with a final push for fans to attend the upcoming AEW tapings in Cincinnati.
