Jonathan Gresham Explains How Viral Home Security Footage Originated

Jonathan Gresham has broken down why he and Jordynne Grace installed home security cameras and how their viral social clips started spreading online.

Gresham and Grace have drawn heavy attention in recent months as Grace has regularly shared home security camera footage across her social media accounts. In a new interview, Gresham walked through the practical reason the cameras went up and the casual chain of events that turned private laughs into public clips.

Why the cameras were installed

Gresham said the security setup started with their animals and the need to monitor who was coming into the house before his mother began helping with pet care.

I think it's funny because we installed the cameras because we have a bunch of animals in the house and we always want to know, before my mom started coming over and watching the animals, we had people that we didn't know coming in the house. We would just hire them off of an app. So I was like, 'I have somebody staying in my house for four days and I don't know who they are.' I thought it was weird. So we got security cameras. So after a while, my mom took over and the cameras are still in the house. My life is kind of like a movie to be honest. Definitely with my wife being around.

How the viral clips started

Gresham then described the moment the online posting habit took shape. He said they would often react after something happened at home, realize it was funny, and check whether the cameras had caught it.

Sometimes things happen and we'll sit back after it's over and I go, 'Man, that was funny.' One day I said the same thing, I was like, 'Man, that was funny.' She goes, 'Yeah, it was. I think we got it on camera.' I was like, 'No way.' So we go back and look, and we're rolling laughing at us on camera. We were like, 'What happened if we start posting this?' So when anytime something happens in the house and we're both like laughing about it, we just go, 'Let's go back and see if that's funny enough to post.' So that's kind of where that started and originated.

The interview also touched on Gresham's current goal in wrestling, though those comments were not detailed in the initial report. The full conversation is available in the linked video interview.
