Gresham said he is working on a broader platform tied to the style that does not have a name yet but will be revealed in time. He framed the August 5 gathering as more than a one-off seminar, calling it a meeting place for a community built around moving the style forward.
The one thing I did want to bring up before we take off is the platform that I am working on. It does not have a name yet. It will be revealed in time, but the style is called modern age grappling. This is very near and dear to my heart. We're having a seminar to kind of kick it off on August 5th. People that are a part of it is Ryan Clancy, he's amazing. I think when he gets back from his injury, he's gonna, I think, shoot off really quickly. Darian Bengston and Adam Priest. These are three of my favorite people to work with. I think of them all as friends. But they're all coming to Atlanta to help me kick off modern age grappling. So to me, this is not just a style. I want it to be a community of people that subscribe to the style. So this is not just gonna be a seminar. It's gonna be a meeting place for us to talk and discuss how to move the style forward. So that is it.
Gresham singled out Clancy and said he expects Clancy to surge once he returns from injury. He called Priest, Bengston, and Clancy three of his favorite people to work with and friends. Gresham also offered thoughts on the current state of wrestling elsewhere in the same interview.
