Killer Kross Addresses the MLW Faithful

MLW World Champion Killer Kross made his way to the ring alongside Scarlett Bordeaux. Kross opened his address by stating,

He continued by focusing on the company and its dedicated fans, acknowledging their sacrifices to attend shows.

\n

Some times, it feels like the world moves along without you after you put your time into something. He is living proof that you should not give up on yourself. Life happens and life goes on. There are people in the audience tonight and all over the world who are barely able to afford tickets to the shows, but they come. They might be leaving early from work, driving long distances, or fly here. They make sacrifices. They make sacrifices to have that feeling with your friends and we are here to give it to you. Everyone in the back is ready to compete for you. It is not about shareholders or tribalism, it is about professional wrestling. There are some here whose first show in their life or their first MLW show.

Shotzi Blackheart Captures MLW Featherweight Title

\n

Match Number One saw Shotzi Blackheart challenge Shoko Nakajima for the MLW Featherweight Championship. The competitors shook hands before the bell.

\n

The match was a back and forth battle. After a series of maneuvers, Shotzi delivered a kick, followed by a face buster from her shoulders, and secured the win with a back senton for the three count.

\n

Shotzi Blackheart was declared the new MLW Featherweight Champion.

\n

Following her title win, Tom Lawlor joined Shotzi Blackheart in the ring for an interview. An excited Shotzi proclaimed,

Do you feel that. This building is shaking because we went to war. She says she is exhausted and she is fired up. She says she is on top of the damn works right now.

\n

\n

She praised her opponent, stating,

Shoko is one of the best in the world. Tonight, Shttzi says she left it all in the ring and the title.

Shotzi then set her sights on future challenges, declaring,

it is time to hunt some monsters.

Mistico Defeats Diego Hill

\n

Match Number Two featured Mistico against Diego Hill. Both wrestlers exchanged words and shook hands before their contest.

\n

The match was intensely competitive. In the closing moments, Mistico hit a destroyer, then climbed to the top rope to execute a frog splash for the three count, securing the victory.

\n

After the match, Mistico took the microphone and addressed Diego Hill, stating,

it is an honor to be in front of a true legend like Blue Panther.

\n

\n

He continued to praise Hill, saying,

\n

Now it is an honor for them to be here, as Mexican legends to support great young talent like Diego. It was an honor and privilege to step into the ring with a bright young star like Diego. You earned his full respect and recognition from him as well as Blue Panther.

Mistico thanked Hill and shook his hand, adding,

You might have one of the greatsts teachers in the last 45 years, but you were one of the greatest in MLW.

Austin Aries Challenges Blue Panther

\n

Rich Bocchini interviewed Austin Aries backstage, where Aries was seen tossing autographed tortillas to fans. Aries immediately corrected Bocchini on how to address him.

When asked about his rivalry with Mistico, Aries dismissed their past encounter, stating,

\n

it was one match and Mistico fluked his way into victory. He will get his win back.

\n

\n

Aries then shifted his focus to Blue Panther, who holds the National Openweight Championship. Aries claimed that Diego Hill was receiving poor advice, stating,

\n

\n

Diego is listening to the wrong people. They are not here to help you, they are here to hold you back.

\n

\n

He then issued a challenge to Blue Panther,

\n

\n

If you want to teach something to your protege, teach him that you have some cajones and put your title on the line against him.

\n

\n

Aries concluded by saying,

Diego should be at ringside to see that Blue Panther cannot teach him anything.

Backstage Attack and Future Match

\n

In a backstage segment, KUSHIDA attacked Alan Angels before their scheduled match. Okumura joined KUSHIDA in the assault. The match between KUSHIDA and Alan Angels is slated to take place next week.
