Orange Cassidy revealed that Matt Sydal was the originator of the concept for his popular T-shirt design in a recent interview.
Sydal, who is currently inactive in competition, continues to offer advice to talent. His last match for All Elite Wrestling occurred in May 2024.
\nWhen asked about the shirt's origin, Cassidy stated:
\n\n\nNo. I will be very honest with you, it was Matt Sydal. He brought it to me. Matt Sydal, he’s a real one. I’m gonna be sending him a check for the rest of his life.

Cassidy is scheduled to compete at the upcoming AEW Dynamite Summer Blockbuster event.
