Sheamus Reportedly Leaving WWE After Turning Down Contract Extension

Sheamus is reportedly set to depart WWE, having recently declined a contract extension offer. His current deal is expected to expire soon.

Sheamus has updated his X handle to “S. Farrelly,” a variation of his real name, Stephen Farrelly. His last WWE appearance was in November 2025, followed by shoulder surgery in December 2025. WWE has not publicly confirmed his departure.

Having been with WWE since 2006, Sheamus spent time in the company's developmental system before his main roster debut in 2009. During his tenure, he held the WWE Championship three times and the World Heavyweight Championship once, falling short of becoming a Grand Slam Champion as he never won the Intercontinental Championship.
