The viral finger-pointing gesture made popular by Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham has officially crossed over into the world of professional wrestling, appearing on WWE's 'Friday Night SmackDown'. Cunningham's unique expression, which gained significant traction online and even reached the White House was replicated by WWE Superstars Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton.

The incident occurred during a six-woman tag team match on 'Friday Night SmackDown' on July 3, 2026, at Boardwalk Hall Arena in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Chelsea Green, Tiffany Stratton, and Charlotte Flair faced off against Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab. Green and Stratton adopted Cunningham's signature pointing motion as they stood in front of Flair, directing it towards their opponents.

Chelsea Green acknowledged the crossover on social media, posting "When @WWE meets @WNBA" on X.

Cargill's team ultimately secured the victory in the match.

Speaking about the widespread popularity of her gesture, Cunningham shared her perspective with reporters. "I think everyone around the world is posting it," she said when asked about the White House's involvement. "Every company has done it. So I don't really think twice about it. I just think they're another group posting about it."

Cunningham also addressed the technical foul she received for the gesture during a game against the Phoenix Mercury on June 22, 2026. She stated on her podcast that the foul was "the weakest thing I’ve ever seen in my life," emphasizing that she "didn’t say a word" and was "literally pointing."

I couldn't help myself. I could not. She was losing her s--- and all I was doing was literally pointing.
