Street Profits Reclaim World Tag Titles, Lyra Valkyria Turns on Bayley After WWE Raw in London

The June 22 edition of WWE Raw on Netflix from The O2 Arena in London set up Night of Champions with new World Tag Team Champions, a Lyra Valkyria heel turn, and faceoffs for the King and Queen of the Ring finals.

The show delivered key fallout heading into a major premium live event on Saturday, with title changes, a dramatic alliance break, and final build for the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments all landing on one card in London.

Street Profits Reclaim World Tag Team Championships

Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins are World Tag Team Champions again after taking the titles from The Vision on Raw. With the win, the tag team division on Raw has the feel of being back on track, though that momentum could fade quickly if WWE does not capitalize on elevating The Street Profits back to top team status.

In 2025, Ford and Dawkins held the WWE Tag Team Championships heading into WrestleMania 41, but nothing came of the hype around building a strong, fresh division at that time. They would go on to deliver a TLC match against DIY and the Motor City Machine Guns that many believed should have happened at WrestleMania, though half of the men in that match are no longer in WWE.

The top teams on Raw at present include The Usos, The Judgment Day, and Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee, yet all three tandems are wrestling singles more often than they are working as tag teams. American Alpha and The Creed Brothers could reenter the tag picture by riding Chad Gable's popularity, though that would take a concerted effort from WWE. Ford and Dawkins remain strong in the ring, but they need challengers and division depth for fresh matches to carry through the summer.

Oba Femi and Jey Uso Build to King of the Ring

Oba Femi and Jey Uso shared the ring on Raw ahead of their King of the Ring match. Femi has emerged as one of WWE's biggest rising stars, and keeping him on television and winning has kept crowd investment high, including for a potential showdown with Roman Reigns.

The London crowd was clearly invested in the idea of Femi facing Reigns at SummerSlam. SummerSlam is positioned as the biggest show of the summer, and a Tribal Chief defense against The Ruler has strong marquee appeal on paper.

Brock Lesnar returned and tied his series with Femi, though a third match between them is not necessary right now. Jey Uso may remain popular, but he is not in a position where he should be defeating The Ruler, even if interference were involved to help him. Jey has struggled to deliver in big moments, including during this week's faceoff with Femi.

WWE may be considering delaying Roman Reigns vs. Oba Femi for WrestleMania 43 while delivering Jey Uso vs. Cody Rhodes, Femi vs. Lesnar, and Reigns vs. Seth Rollins at SummerSlam. None of those SummerSlam possibilities carry the same weight and creative pull as putting Reigns against the hottest star in WWE right now.

Lyra Valkyria Turns on Bayley

Lyra Valkyria turned on Bayley after they failed to capture the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships. Valkyria has been one of Raw's most underrated performers, though the women's division has lacked depth and Valkyria struggled to find a reliable television spot while developing an awkward alliance with Bayley.

Valkyria should have been pushed hard coming out of her feud with Becky Lynch, but she lost much of that momentum with a lack of spotlight on Raw. That could change following her dramatic heel turn. A solo heel run for The Valkyrie gives her more immediate chances to talk and perform on television.

One of Valkyria's strongest character elements has been her brash confidence, which can play even more effectively as a villain as she looks to match the heat carried by Lynch and Liv Morgan over time. She could become a strong foil for women's intercontinental champion Sol Ruca or Iyo Sky down the line, but WWE must capitalize on the turn while the moment is fresh.

Valkyria has consistently performed when given opportunities and has only struggled when left with limited direction backstage. The Bayley break sets up a new direction for her on Raw with Night of Champions on the immediate horizon.
