Trick Williams' Golfing Prospects Questioned

When asked about which WWE superstar might one day join him in the tournament field, The Miz first considered Trick Williams. The two had recently teamed up for the "Squad Games" event, competing against Dude Perfect alongside Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, with Je’Von Evans also participating.

The Miz acknowledged Williams' athletic prowess, noting his background as a receiver for the South Carolina Gamecocks and his standout performance in the "Squad Games." However, Miz expressed reservations about Williams' readiness for the golf course.

I don't know if he could play golf that well. I don't think he plays golf on the regular, and I feel like to be here, you need to play golf on the regular. You really do. In the ring, he’s unstoppable. Unbelievable. I mean, he has literally been one of the superstars that, of the up-and-coming superstars, that you go, 'That guy's gonna be a star. He's got it.' He has it all. For sure. On the golf course, not sure.

Miz elaborated that while Williams possesses the qualities of a future star within WWE, regular dedication to golf is crucial for competing at the level of the American Century Championship.

Jimmy Uso Developing His Golf Skills

Shifting focus, The Miz identified another WWE talent who has been actively working on his golf game: Jimmy Uso.

Jimmy Uso has been playing some golf lately. He talks to me all the time about, ‘Hey, what should I do? What should I do?’ I’m like, 'You don't want to ask me.'

While it remains uncertain if Jimmy Uso will ever compete in the American Century Championship, The Miz’s comments indicate that Uso is making an effort to improve his golfing abilities, should an opportunity arise for a second WWE superstar to be invited to the prestigious event.
