WWE Announces Rhea Ripley Suffered Knee Injury In Italy

WWE announced on the June 12 SmackDown that Rhea Ripley is being evaluated for a knee injury suffered in Italy, with her return timeline pending treatment.

WWE indicated more information regarding Ripley's return date will come after seeing how she responds to treatment. Ripley is currently dealing with the knee issue while that evaluation plays out.

Ripley last wrestled at WWE Clash in Italy, where she retained her Women's Title against Jade Cargill. She also worked a few live events as part of WWE's European Summer Tour.

With Ripley sidelined for evaluation, her immediate schedule on Raw and SmackDown appears unclear until WWE releases a follow up on her recovery.
