The September 4 Blue Brand taping was set for Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati. Ticketmaster currently displays a message to ticketholders that reads, "unfortunately, the event organizer has had to cancel your event."

The Heritage Bank Center has confirmed the September 4 SmackDown taping in Cincinnati is canceled. No reason was provided for the cancellation, and there is no word on a make-good date at this time. There is also no mention of a future SmackDown episode being rescheduled in the Queen City.

I have confirmed with the Heritage Bank Center that the September 4 edition of #SmackDown in Cincinnati has been cancelled. No reason was provided, and no word on a make-good at this time.

That confirmation was shared on social media on June 19, 2026.

Fall Calendar Context

The September 4 edition of SmackDown was expected to be a significant show. The first ever edition of Sunday Night's Main Event is scheduled for September 6 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

With the Cincinnati stop off the board, 15 remaining dates are still on the upcoming Raw and SmackDown episode calendar that WWE laid out across those 16 cities. The June 29 episode of Raw will have an early start time. WWE has been contacted for additional information on the cancellation, but has not yet responded.
