WWE Raw emanated from the AllState Arena in Chicago on July 6, featuring a stacked card with three championship matches and significant fallout heading into SummerSlam weekend.

Championship Matches Deliver Upsets and New Reigns

The Undisputed WWE Championship was on the line as new champion Sami Zayn defended against former titleholder Cody Rhodes. The rematch stemmed from Zayn's upset victory over Rhodes and Gunther at WWE Night of Champions. Despite the title being assigned to the blue brand, the rivalry continued on Raw.

In a surprising turn, the World Tag Team Championships changed hands. The Vision, consisting of Bron Breakker and Austin Theory, defeated The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) to become the new champions. The match saw interference from Logan Paul, who provided a brass knuckle distraction. However, Maxxine Dupri made an appearance and delivered a low blow to Dawkins, enabling Theory to secure the pinfall victory.

Referees are just the dumbest characters, man. That was a ridiculously long distraction, as the titles continue to be hot-potato'd.

The Women's Intercontinental Championship was also contested, with champion Sol Ruca defending her title against Raquel Rodriguez. Ruca successfully retained her championship after a hard-fought match. The bout featured interference from Roxanne Perez, who was ringside, as well as Liv Morgan and Iyo Sky. Sky's involvement saw her hit Perez with a Cross-Body and superkick Morgan. She then performed a springboard Moonsault. Ruca hit Rodriguez with a Sol Snatcher for the win.

The source material indicates that Cody Rhodes has left the building to be evaluated after an attack earlier in the show.

SummerSlam Title Rematch Set

Seth Rollins stated he doesn't like LA Knight but respects him. Rollins believes Knight's time will come but he can't worry about Knight right now. He allowed Knight a title shot first if he becomes champion at SummerSlam.

LA Knight stated he will never catch Rollins in world title shots. He added that during the recent boom period a few years back, he was taking off as a star.

Paul Heyman told someone to come back with something worth his wiseman's time, or don't come back at all.

Nick Aldis got into an argument with Gunther and Adam Pearce backstage.
