WWE SmackDown aired on a delayed broadcast on USA Network on June 12, 2026, from the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, Rhode Island. WrestleTix tracking listed 6,769 tickets distributed for the show in an arena configured for up to 14,000 spectators.

The broadcast opened with a video recap of Gunther's complaint that Cody Rhodes pinned him last week despite Gunther's foot being under the bottom rope. Cody admitted Gunther was right, and Gunther said he wanted to name his stipulation for a rematch. Backstage, General Manager Nick Aldis said Gunther had not told him anything since last week but would reveal the stipulation tonight. Cody Rhodes said he was fine waiting. Later backstage, Gunther told Aldis he could not trust his vetting of officials and will pick the referee for the rematch, saying he was still contemplating his choice and would reveal it later.

Cody Rhodes later met The Usos backstage. Jey Uso told Cody he is going to win the whole tournament and that he is coming after Cody's title at Summerslam.

Cody said he hopes he wins, and he hopes it's his decision and not Roman's.

Michael Cole and Wade Barrett handled commentary at ringside. Tessitore discussed the knee injury to Rhea Ripley in Italy. Barrett said the injury is being evaluated and that how she responds to treatment will determine the ETA for her return. A recap aired of Jade Cargill pinning Charlotte Flair on last week's SmackDown.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviewed Jade Cargill with Michin and B-Fab about defending her Queen of the Ring status. Jade said she has built a career on pressure and that she can win the tournament twice if she it once. Michin and B-Fab backed her up. Jade then looked into the camera and told Rhea she is taking her title back at Summerslam.

The show also featured LA Knight walking backstage, Royce Keys signing autographs for fans, and Finn Balor arriving in a new outfit that Tessitore framed as a new start for him on a new brand. That lineup aligns with King of the Ring tournament action built around Jey Uso, LA Knight, Finn Balor, and Royce Keys on the June 12 card.

Queen of the Ring Opening Round

Charlotte Flair, Jade Cargill, Sol Ruca, and Lyra Valkyria met in a Queen of the Ring opening round four-way. The bell rang 12 minutes into the hour. Jade was triple-teamed early but fought out and posed mid-ring. Charlotte and Jade traded shots after Ruca and Lyra rolled to ringside. B-Fab and Michin pulled Charlotte to the floor, and Alexa Bliss ran out to stop the beatdown before B-Fab and Michin swarmed her. Tiffany Stratton then ran out to even the ringside fight.

Back in the ring, Charlotte leaped off the top rope onto Jade, who stood and waited. Jade kicked out after Sol Ruca was late with a save, hitting Charlotte after Jade had already kicked out. Charlotte submitted Lyra Valkyria with a Figure-Eight in 18:00 to advance in the Queen of the Ring tournament.
