WWE Unveils Jam Packed Week Across NXT, SmackDown, and A&E Programming Schedules

WWE has confirmed a robust schedule of programming for the upcoming week, featuring critical contender matches on NXT, King and Queen of the Ring bouts on SmackDown, and a full slate of historical and new content on A&E.

WWE has set its extensive programming schedule for the current week, following Monday Night Raw in Paris, France. The slate includes new episodes of WWE NXT, WWE Friday Night SmackDown, WWE EVOLVE, WWE Main Event, alongside a dedicated block of WWE on A&E specials and original programming.

WWE NXT: Championship Contender Matches and The Mr. NXT Pageant

WWE NXT will broadcast on the CW Network and internationally on Netflix, featuring a series of pivotal matches. This week's NXT will feature WWE Women's North American Champion Tatum Paxley vs. Zaria.

Two significant matches are set to determine top contenders for their respective championships. Kendal Grey will face Kelani Jordan in a bout to crown the top contender for the WWE NXT Women's Championship. On the men's side, Mason Rook will go head to head with Naraku to determine the top contender for the WWE NXT Championship.

Beyond championship pursuits, WWE NXT will also present The Mr. NXT Pageant, featuring Tristan Angels vs. Shiloh Hill. In addition to televised programming, WWE NXT has live events scheduled in Dade City, Florida, and Jacksonville, Florida.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown: King and Queen of the Ring Qualifiers and Stipulation Reveal

WWE Friday Night SmackDown is scheduled live from Providence, Rhode Island. The event will air at 8 PM Eastern/5 Pacific on The USA Network and internationally on Netflix. This week's SmackDown will host qualifiers for both the King of the Ring and Queen of the Ring tournaments.

A King of the Ring match is set to feature LA Knight vs. Jey Uso vs. Royce Keys vs. Finn Balor. For the Queen of the Ring tournament, Sol Ruca vs. Lyra Valkyria vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Jade Cargill are scheduled to compete.

A major announcement is also slated for SmackDown, as the stipulation for the highly anticipated match between WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and GUNTHER, scheduled for next week, will be revealed during the broadcast.

Post SmackDown and Other Weekly Programming

Immediately following SmackDown, Season Two of Everything on The Menu with Braun Strowman will continue. This episode is scheduled to air at 11 PM EST on The USA Network and will feature comedian Bert Kreischer as a special guest.

Other wrestling programming includes WWE EVOLVE, which will air at 8 PM Eastern on Tubi.TV. WWE Main Event will be available to stream on YouTube. Additionally, AAA will air on FOX Latin America and YouTube at 10 PM Eastern/7 Pacific.

WWE on A&E: Rivals, LFG, and Greatest Moments

WWE's partnership with A&E continues with a full lineup of programming, including multiple episodes of WWE Rivals and new installments of WWE LFG and WWE's Greatest Moments.

The WWE Rivals block is scheduled as follows:

  • 5 PM: WWE Rivals - Hulk Hogan vs. Ultimate Warrior
  • 6 PM: WWE Rivals - "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. Bret "Hitman" Hart
  • 7 PM: WWE Rivals - Jake "The Snake" Roberts vs. "Macho Man" Randy Savage
  • 8 PM: WWE Rivals - Triple H vs. Batista
  • 9:00 PM: WWE Rivals - Undertaker vs. Mankind

A new episode of WWE LFG will premiere at 10:01 PM. The episode description details the focus:

Following this, a new episode of WWE's Greatest Moments SmackDown: The 2nd Decade is set to air at 11:04 PM. This episode is described as:

We celebrate the top moments from SmackDown's second decade; features the Steel Cage clash between Jeff Hardy and CM Punk, Edge's shocking cash-in on The Undertaker, AJ Styles capturing the WWE Championship in Britain and more.
