The Rock has 8 WWE World Title Reigns and was one of the two all-time stars created by WWE to drive forward the Attitude Era, along with Steve Austin. The Rock had six reigns with the WWE Championship and one reign with the World Heavyweight Champion, becoming the first contracted WWE wrestler to win the "Big Gold." The Rock dethroned CM Punk in 2013 to win the WWE Title and notably rid WWE of the "Spinner" belt.

Brock Lesnar has 10 WWE World Title Reigns and has only ever won world titles, not midcard or tag team titles, leading to a historic WWE Title win over The Rock. Lesnar has reigned as WWE Champion and Universal Champion, embarking on many long-term title reigns as a part-timer.

Edge has 11 WWE World Title Reigns. Between 2006 and 2011, Edge earned himself more world title reigns than almost everyone in WWE history. He cashed in the Money In The Bank twice and defeated names like John Cena, The Undertaker, Kane, Jeff Hardy, and Triple H.

Triple H has 14 WWE World Title Reigns across both the WWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championship. Randy Orton also has 14 WWE World Title Reigns, winning the World Heavyweight Championship at age 21 in 2004. John Cena holds the record with 17 WWE World Title Reigns, notably winning the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 21 and going on to defeat numerous top stars.
