The extensive storyline surrounding WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns and The Bloodline is reportedly slated to continue well beyond WrestleMania 43, which is scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The stable, which has been a central focus of WWE programming since its formation in July 2021 is expected to incorporate new elements and characters.
Jacob Fatu has recently been added to The Bloodline alongside Reigns and The Usos. However, Solo Sikoa's continued defiance within the family is expected to add further depth to the ongoing narrative. According to a report from False Finish, the current Bloodline story is expected to extend past WrestleMania 43.
Dave Meltzer reported that Zilla Fatu, son of the late Umaga is expected to begin with WWE soon. Fatu is anticipated to debut in NXT before being integrated into The Bloodline storyline.
Sami Zayn's SummerSlam Match Status Reportedly Uncertain
Despite recently winning the Undisputed WWE Championship at the Night of Champions premium live event, Sami Zayn's planned match for SummerSlam is reportedly in question. Meltzer noted in the Newsletter that Zayn was not originally listed for a key match on the SummerSlam card. An original marquee match planned for the event was Cody Rhodes versus CM Punk for the WWE Championship.
Rhodes is scheduled to challenge Zayn for the title on an upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw, which leaves open the possibility of WWE reverting to its original plan for SummerSlam. Meltzer suggested that if Zayn's championship reign concludes in under 10 days, it would indicate that WWE's decision to have him win the title in Saudi Arabia was primarily for a "you deserve it" moment.
