Chavo Guerrero appears in the scene as the referee, matching prior rumors about his involvement. After a few seconds of in-ring action, the film cuts to Daniel Kellner, played by Josh O'Connor, in the crowd as the main plot begins.

Talk of Archer, Cage, and Guerrero appearing in the project first circulated in April 2025. Cage and Archer went on to confirm their roles in the months that followed. The wrestling sequence was kept out of trailers and other marketing materials ahead of release.

The Don Callis Family will be represented on the June 13 episode of AEW Collision.
