Social media recently resurfaced footage confirming Brock Lesnar's current WWE entrance music originated as an XFL team track, clarifying the source of a widely recognized theme that has heralded Lesnar's intimidating presence throughout much of his WWE career.

A 2001 video shows the Chicago Enforcers running out against the LA Xtreme to what is now Brock Lesnar's entrance music. This track, titled "Next Big Thing," was composed by renowned WWE music producer Jim Johnston. Johnston created the piece specifically for the XFL before it became associated with WWE and Lesnar.

The connection between Lesnar and professional football extends beyond his theme music. Following his departure from WWE after WrestleMania XX, Lesnar pursued a career in football. He signed with the Minnesota Vikings in 2004 as a defensive tackle, appearing in preseason.

The XFL itself has a notable history, playing its initial season in 2001. After a hiatus, the league returned in 2020 and subsequently merged with the USFL in 2024, forming the United Football League.
