Punk has been off television since the Raw episode after WrestleMania 42. On that show, he addressed losing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania and indicated he was not going anywhere. Cody Rhodes confronted Punk in the segment and told him that whenever Punk wanted a title shot, all he had to do was ask.

Before WrestleMania, Punk was a regular presence on Raw. A move to SmackDown would shift him to the blue brand as WWE appears to be building toward a Rhodes vs. Punk title angle. No timetable has been set for when Punk is expected back on screen.
