Dustin Rhodes has opened up about his AEW retirement planning while rehabbing from double knee surgery, including how he may look for a final match.
On Tony Schiavone's podcast, Rhodes addressed a possible last match and a trademark decision, keeping specifics private as part of ongoing retirement considerations within AEW.
Rhodes said his envisioned farewell match would forgo face paint as a throwback to The Natural. He referenced his early 1990s presentation, noted he would wear a bodysuit at age 57, and said he currently sits at his high school weight.
Rhodes recently stated he hopes to wrestle another 18 months to two years before retiring and moving into full-time coaching and producing with AEW.
