GUNTHER Expected to Announce Cody Rhodes Rematch Stipulation on SmackDown

WWE SmackDown on June 12, 2026 is advertised to feature GUNTHER naming his stipulation for a rematch with Undisputed Men's Champion Cody Rhodes next week, plus the final King and Queen of the Ring first round matches.

The card is also set to close out the first round of King and Queen of the Ring. The men's side reportedly pits Finn Balor, Jey Uso, LA Knight, and Royce Keys against each other. Balor arrives on SmackDown with a clean slate after his trade and appears headed into the fire in his first match on the brand.

The women's first round finale is advertised with Charlotte Flair, Jade Cargill, Lyra Valkyria, and Sol Ruca. Until results are in, the stipulation GUNTHER chooses and who advances in both tournaments remain the main questions for diehards tracking the Night of Champions build.
