WWE's Joe Hendry has shared the driving force behind his popular wrestling music, stating his primary objective is to incite widespread crowd participation rapidly. Hendry, whose self-written theme songs have become a recognizable element of his persona, recently detailed his creative process on "The Early Bird Special" podcast.
Hendry outlined his goal for each song he produces: to have an entire arena singing along after hearing only a portion of the chorus one time. "The goal is, you got to get the entire arena singing along with a song after only hearing it half a chorus one time, and that's what I pride myself in being able to do," Hendry explained. He noted this approach with his recent song targeting Logan Paul, stating, "So, yeah, I had a lot of fun with the 'fire Logan Paul' song."
Beyond his immediate entrance music and opponent-specific tracks, Hendry confirmed that he is planning to record a full album. He pointed to John Cena's past musical endeavors as a benchmark for success in the wrestling music genre. "Soon," Hendry replied when asked about the album's release timeline. "John Cena has set the standard. It's tough to make a great wrestling album, and John Cena did it."
Hendry's music has also been a feature on WWE programming. He recently appeared on WWE Raw in London, England, performing his "Fire Logan Paul" song. Following his performance, he was ambushed by Paul's tag team partner, Austin Theory.
