The former WWE champion is said to be receiving treatment at the Anderson Center for Hair in Atlanta. According to Cena himself, the decision to pursue hair loss therapy was significantly influenced by the taunts from WWE fans. He recalled seeing signs from the WWE Universe that read "The bald John Cena," which prompted him to explore his options.
"I saw their signs that said 'The bald John Cena.' They pushed me into going to see what my options were. I now have a routine: red-light therapy, minoxidil, vitamins, shampoo, conditioner, and I also got a hair transplant last November. I hate the fact that if there wasn't so much shame around it, I'd have gotten it done 10 years ago."
Cena, who retired from full-time WWE competition in December 2025 after tapping out to Gunther in his final match is embracing a new chapter. He noted that he "went all in" with the hair transplant, including shaving his head, in pursuit of the best possible results.
This personal venture into hair restoration comes as Cena continues to solidify his presence in the acting world, adapting to life outside of his extensive wrestling career.
