Posing with hair restoration specialist Dr. Ken Anderson, Cena showcased his freshly shaved scalp. He expressed his gratitude to Dr. Anderson and the Anderson Center for Hair, stating, "Round 2 of FUE treatment and this time I went all in for best possible results. Thank you @KenAndersonMD and the staff at Anderson Center for Hair for accompanying me on this journey!"

Dr. Anderson reciprocated the sentiment, praising Cena's dedication to the process and his long-term hair health. Cena first underwent a hair transplant in November 2024, years after he began to feel self-conscious about his thinning hair. He previously spoke about how wrestling fans repeatedly mocking his appearance during WWE events contributed to his decision. Appearing on The Pat McAfee Show, Cena described the chants as "straight-up bullying," stating, "You chant, and you make me feel small, and you embarrass me… Y'all don't know what that's like. That is straight-up bullying. That's just not cool. I don't like it." He added, "So, thank you for bullying me into getting surgical hair replacement. That's how far y'all push me." Cena also noted that his hair loss is a genetic condition beyond his control.

Away from the wrestling ring, Cena is enjoying a successful career in Hollywood. His recent comedy film, Little Brother, co-starring Eric André has reportedly been performing well on Netflix. The actor also has several other film projects in development, including Coyote vs. Acme and Matchbox: The Movie.

While Cena officially retired from in-ring competition after his match against Gunther, he has not entirely ruled out a future return. He has previously stated that "never" is a difficult word to use regarding potential future matches, hinting that a significant financial incentive might draw him back into the ring.
