Josh Hokit Says No To WWE Move For Now, But Would Consider If The Money Is Right

UFC heavyweight Josh Hokit addressed a potential WWE switch in a new interview ahead of his White House card bout, saying he would pass for now but would listen if the money made sense.

On whether he could see himself in WWE someday, Hokit kept the door open while stopping short of any commitment.

I mean, I say no as of right now, but if they're willing to pay, fuck it. Yeah, sure. If they're willing to pay, let's do it.

Asked about his history as a wrestling fan, Hokit said he followed WWE when he was younger before stepping back.

Man, when I was young. When I was young, yeah, I followed it a little bit. Then my dad told me it was fake and I was like, wow.

He also recalled clashing with classmates over whether televised pro wrestling was legitimate competition, given his background in amateur wrestling.

Yeah, no, I used to have arguments at school about if it was fake or not, and so, because it's like, as a wrestler, we know like wrestling, amateur wrestling is real. But then it's like you watch this wrestling on TV, which is fake, that would always bother me at least. So I stayed away from it.

Hokit is scheduled to fight on the UFC White House card later today. There is no indication WWE has approached him or that any talks are underway.
