Nash highlighted the significance of Arn Anderson's forced retirement due to a shoulder injury sustained during a gym session.

Nash expressed his view that Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard as a tag team are underrated and that their success was a crucial factor for WCW. He noted that many discussions about WWE's overtaking of WCW overlook the impact of Anderson's injury. "I think that Arn [Anderson] and Tully [Blanchard] as a tag team are really underrated," Nash stated. "People talk about things that changed momentum for the WWE to overtake WCW, and I think ... one of the things that was huge that's missed often is when Arn got f**ked up."

The former wrestling star elaborated on Anderson's value, emphasizing his abilities beyond in-ring performance. "Losing Arn, because not only was Arn a ring general and could f**king run young talent and teach young talent, Arn's psychology was amazing," Nash added. "So just losing him as part of the team, that hurt us and having guys like Kevin Nash being a dick and f**king with him and everything else probably didn't help the situation!"

The Monday Night Wars, a period of intense competition between WWE and WCW, lasted for 2,030 days and delivered numerous memorable storylines. Despite WCW holding an 83-week consecutive lead in the ratings, the promotion ultimately folded in 2001, leading to its acquisition by Vince McMahon. Many talents, including Nash, Scott Hall, and Hulk Hogan, transitioned to WWE, bringing the nWo with them in 2002, though it did not achieve the same level of success it had in WCW.
