Morgan, a recent WWE tryout participant, described the encounter in an interview, stating it was a moment where she felt a significant amount of awe. She noted the difficulty of maintaining professionalism in such situations.
That was one of the matches that I went like out to watch out from backstage and was able to like stand on the side, and like, it was, that was incredible. I got to say hello to her and I was like, proper, you don’t- you try and keep yourself as professional as possibly and it was just one of them moments where I was like, oh my gosh, like, I’m like, like in front of (Paige), and you’ve like actually seen me as a person and said, hello. If you get what I mean, like that was, I was very starstruck. If you get what I mean, I feel like I’ve kind of been told, like, you’ve got to keep it cool and, like, everything, and I was like, right, kept it cool in front of so many people. Like, you’re looking around and you’re like, oh, my gosh, like, I’ve seen all of you everywhere, and then it was just seeing her in person, I was like, that’s insane.
Morgan also commented on the general experience of working as extra talent for WWE, indicating she has discussed this further in other parts of the interview.
