Nic Nemeth is the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion, having defeated Mike Santana at Slammiversary on Sunday night. The event took place at the Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts.
Nemeth utilized the Call Your Shot trophy, with a distraction from his brother Ryan, to open up Santana. The ensuing blood loss led to Santana fainting during a Spin the Block attempt, allowing Nemeth to hit the Danger Zone and secure the victory, marking his second reign with the title. Nic and Ryan Nemeth celebrated with champagne following the match.

With the TNA World Championship no longer in his possession, Santana's future with the company is uncertain, as his contract is reportedly set to expire later this summer.
Championship Changes and New Additions
Slammiversary featured multiple championship changes. The TNA Knockouts World Championship and both tag team titles also changed hands. Additionally, a new championship was introduced, and two legends were announced for the 2026 TNA Hall of Fame Class.
