Penta has extensive experience in hexagon-shaped rings, having competed in both TNA and AAA earlier in his career. He finds the six-sided ring preferable to the traditional four-sided configuration.
“[I prefer wrestling in a] Six-sided ring, definitely,” Penta stated.He added his thoughts on WWE potentially adopting the concept: “Why not? Why not now? In this time, WWE can do everything. It would be very special, right? Penta is ready for everything, no matter if the ring is six, eight, ten, no matter what. Penta is ready.“
While Penta advocates for the return of the six-sided ring for AAA events, some wrestlers have previously expressed opposition. Austin Aries, a former TNA competitor had voiced concerns about the change from a six-sided to a four-sided ring, noting that the canvas on the latter was harder to bump on.
Penta is set to learn his opponent for SummerSlam next week. A gauntlet match will be held on WWE RAW this Monday to determine his challenger.
