During that show, Sosa interfered in Eric Young's TNA World Title match against Mike Santana, costing Young the championship opportunity.

Additionally, a Knockouts World Tag Title match has been made official for Slammiversary. This came after the June 11th TNA Thursday Night iMPACT, where the trio of Rosemary, Mara Sadè, and Allie defeated The Elegance Brand, consisting of Ash by Elegance, Heather by Elegance, and M by Elegance. Allie secured the victory for her team by pinning Heather by Elegance, who is a Knockouts World Tag Team Champion.
