Uso is set to face Raw newcomer Je'Von Evans in the final four. The winner of that bout will meet the winner of Oba Femi vs. Dominik Mysterio in the King of the Ring finals at Night of Champions on June 27.
With Uso one step closer to another main event singles match, social posts suggest WWE fans are flooding YouTube and social media with negative reactions to his latest major singles victory. The YouTube clip of Uso's win was reportedly hit with tens of thousands of dislikes and, at the time of reporting, sat at more than 70,000 dislikes.
This marks at least the third time a YouTube video of a monumental Uso victory was overwhelmed with dislikes. Similar backlash reportedly followed his March 2025 Raw win over Austin Theory in less than 30 seconds, just two months after his 2025 Royal Rumble victory, and his fall 2025 Raw battle royal win that earned a World Heavyweight Championship shot against CM Punk.
Uso the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 41 in 2025 by defeating Gunther, his only world championship reign to date. He held the belt for 51 days before WWE shifted him back toward tag team work, reuniting with Jimmy Uso by December 2025 and returning to a supporting role alongside Roman Reigns in The Bloodline.
As WWE leans back into The Bloodline saga, fan fatigue may be showing elsewhere on the product. Last week's Monday Night Raw reportedly posted the red brand's lowest average viewership since the show debuted on Netflix in January 2025. Social posts suggest part of the frustration centers on Uso advancing in King of the Ring at the expense of popular names like LA Knight, who was in the SmackDown four way.
