WWE Reportedly Has Big Plans for Danhausen After Knicks Win NBA Title

The New York Knicks ended a 53 year title drought on Saturday, and WWE is reportedly ready to keep riding Danhausen's Knicks connection with a major Madison Square Garden push.

Danhausen lifted a curse on the Knicks after Game 3 of their first round series against the Atlanta Hawks. The Knicks went 15-1 from that point through the championship, including comeback wins in Games 4 and 5 of the Finals.

WWE returns to Madison Square Garden on July 18 for Saturday Night's Main Event, and Danhausen is reportedly set for a prominent spot on that card. Merchandise and social media content tied to Fanatics Fest 2026 in New York City that same week also appear likely.

Danhausen could become a fixture in WWE's New York area promotion, helped by his visibility with Knicks fans, NBA analysts, legends, and celebrities during the playoff run.
