Andre's exposure to the wrestling world has been recent and direct. He made an appearance on WWE Monday Night RAW, where he was involved in a segment that saw him receive a beatdown from Jacob Fatu under the direction of Roman Reigns.

During a new interview, Andre spoke about John Cena's extensive background in wrestling, highlighting the skills and adaptability Cena gained from his time in WWE.

I think that’s why you’re not phased by anything. I think WWE is the greatest school of performance. Don’t go to Lee Strasberg, whatever, circle in the square. Be a WWE superstar. There is nothing you could throw at him that will faze him. He can perform. I’m being serious because what have you not done? I remember when I was pitching you ideas of stuff that if I was ever on WWE, I’d want to do this, this and this. You were like, ‘yeah, Hulk Hogan did that. Oh, Vince did that one time. Oh, yeah, me and Gene one time said to Macho Man.’ You were like, ‘I’ve done every scenario you can think of, comedic, dramatic,’ and then you have to, like I say, toss a 19-year-old around for an hour and a half after a crazy monologue that you just memorized as you walked.

In a separate interview, Cena reportedly stated his belief that Andre himself would find success if he were to pursue a career in WWE.
