Paul Wight has identified John Cena as the toughest wrestler he has encountered throughout his extensive career. Wight, who has competed in promotions such as WWE, WCW, and TNA has faced a multitude of wrestling's elite performers.

During an interview with Sky Sports, Wight was asked to name his toughest opponent. He pointed to the 17-time world champion, John Cena, citing two remarkable displays of toughness.

John Cena. You know, John Cena had neck surgery at 7 a.m. and at 3 o'clock in the afternoon he came by the building to say hello to everybody. This is a guy that has neck fused and within less than seven hours he came by to say hello to everybody. So, that’s pretty tough. I’ve seen him get stabbed in the eye and have his cornea scratched and he’s still at work the next day. That’s pretty tough.
Wight also shared an anecdote from another interview regarding Taz and Brock Lesnar breaking a ring with a superplex.
