The term "potential" is emphasized, as no contracts are confirmed until talent appears on WWE programming, whether that be Monday Night Raw, Friday Night SmackDown, or NXT. Among the discussed names is Mike Santana, known for his tag team success and recent work as a top performer in TNA. Hiromu Takahashi is noted for bringing a unique style to WWE, having spent his entire career in Japan.

Zilla Fatu is highlighted for his considerable upside, further amplified by his existing ties to The Bloodline faction. The list also includes former WWE mainstays who were previously released but have since built successful careers elsewhere, leading to consideration for their return.

Baron Corbin's WWE career is described as having an up-and-down trajectory, with the assessment that his tenure could have been more significant. Similarly, Enzo Amore and Big Cass are mentioned as a once highly popular act whose potential to recapture their previous success as a tag team is being questioned.

Potential is the right word to use because it isn’t an absolute certainty any of the six listed here will actually be signed by WWE and put on television until they show up on Monday Night Raw, Friday Night SmackDown, or NXT. It’s an intriguing list of names.

Santana was a tag star who reinvented himself as a top guy for TNA, Takahashi has spent is entire career in Japan and brings a style WWE is deeply lacking, and Fatu has tremendous upside even beyond his obvious ties to The Bloodline. Then you have the former WWE mainstays who were let go for various reasons and managed to do well enough for themselves elsewhere that the decision was made to bring them back into the fold.

Corbin had an up-and-down career with WWE that probably should have been much bigger than it ever was. The same can be said for Enzo & Big Cass, who were at one time one of the most popular/over acts on the entire roster. Can they recapture the magic they once had back together again?

One assessment of this potential class, assuming all six individuals are signed, assigns a "solid B-" grade.

Additional WWE news includes plans for a massive two-night SummerSlam event this year. Separately, Kendal Grey was reportedly nervous and uncomfortable during her first promo as NXT Women's Champion. Furthermore, it is confirmed that an unnamed talent is not sick and not leaving WWE.
